Eighteenth Century Tartans

Like last year, the wonderful team of Eigtheenth Century Tartans, will once more be part of the (K)nights of Blades & Barrels event. Presenting us a deep dive into the world of tartans, authentic Highland dress and living in the 18th century. Rod accompanied and assisted by his wife Nadine, will portray a fully armed high-rank Duìne Uasal or Highland Gentleman in the dress of the time of the Jacobite Rising of 1745/46. The focus of the presentation will not only be the weapons typical of the Highland warriors, but also the clothing of the Highlanders from this deeply moving era.
